Özet (EN)
In the thesis study, malachite green removal capacity of biosorbent fungi namely, Trametes versicolor and adsorbent namely active carbon was evaluated through batch adsorption assays. Batch sorption experiments were performed at 20°C, and 100 rpm taking biomass amount of 1 g/L. Adsorption trials were carried out as function of initial dye concentration within range of 5 to 80 mg/L for malachite green. Results revealed the biosorption capacity of both sorbents significantly increased as the initial concentration of dye was raised in the medium. Whereas, adsorption capacity of sorbents significantly decline in presence of cationic surfactants and removal percent of the biosorbents biomass demonstrated a significantly higher in the presence of anionic surfactans.
