Abstract (EN)
The aim of our study is to point a general framework about commercial representetives out by examining the discussed issues in doctrine and implemention related to commercial representetives. Our study covers a consideration of regulations under Article 551 and cont. in Turkish Code of Obligation. Searching the discussions in doctrine and supreme court practices, the scope of authorization given to the commercial representetive has been evaluated. The first part of the study covers the notional definition of the commercial representative and his/her authorization. In the second part, the rights and obligations, which the commercial representative has, have been researched. In the third part, sunset provision in the act of commercial representation has been examined.
