Abstract (EN)

In this study, effect of Nitrogen addition to argon on surface hardness of aluminum welded coated with TIG welding method was investigated. For this purpose, AA 6063 T6 commercial rolled aluminum plates (200x120x5mm) were used. Plates were coated under different nitrogen flow rates (8dak / l, 10dak / l, 12dak / l 14dak / l, 16dak / l, 20dak / l) and different powder composition (SiC). Different hardness values were received in the coated plates. Coated plates were characterized by means of EDS and XRD (The reason for the different surface hardness values) were concluded by company microstructural images, EDS and XRD datas.Surface hardness increases with increasing nitrogen flow rate and also AlN phase arised in the weld metal.
