The Position of The Work of Timurtashi Which Named Al-Wusul ila qawaid al-usul in the science of fıqh

The literature of tahric al-furu did not come out in a certain time at once. On the contrary, it came out in a long period that based on a requirement and after the passing through from certain stages of the science of qawaid. The literature of tahric al-furu which is undertaken by Shafis, won a systematic structure in Zencani's hands. The Hanafi faqih Timurtashi who lived in Gaza in 16th century, attributed to the literature of tahric al-furu which explains the relationship between usul and furu, too. The work of Timurtashi which name is Al-Wusul ala qawaid al-usul that is our topic of our thesis is among the works of sixteenth century. This process which began with Zenjani spreads over four hundred years approximately. In this process the scool of Shafi was foremost however the literatüre of Malikis and Hanbalies had also works which associated with tahric al-furu. Until the age of Timurtashi, works which are related to tahric al-furu matured and those are suitable works fort the choracteristic structure of schools that occurred by mixing knowledges. Timurtashi, along with some differences, took advantage of Isnevî in terms of arrangement, systematic and content, and formed al-Wusûl based on at-Temhîd of Isnevî. The fact that the following of a Shafi schoolar who is Isnevi, caused some differences in terms of denominational attitudes and methodology for Timurtashi. In this study, some of the major works of the literature of tahric al-furu were presented and some differences were signed in terms of systematic and content. Thus, we have demonstrated the interaction between the position of al-Wusûl in the literature and works. We analyzed al-Wusûl in terms of its topics, systematics and sources. Although the aim of our study is not a comparison between two works, at-Temhîd is among the sources that we frequently refer to, it in order to determine to what exent affected from Isnevî.
