Abstract (EN)

Tinnitus is a kind of sound which is perceived in ear without any stimulus. It can be described as a sound origined from brain. It effects %17 of general population. Etiologic factors of tinnitus are like as: Temporomandibular joint disorders and Costen Syndrome which are interested in dental factors. The target of aim of tinnitus treatment is the elimination of tinnitus or decreasing the violence. 90 patients who diagnosed with subjective idiopatic tinnitus were selected for this research. Occlussal splint treatment, LLLT with Nd:YAG laser, 810 nm diode laser, occlussal splint and Nd:YAG laser combine treatment, 810 nm diode laser and occlussal splint combine treatment and placebo treatment applied to the patients. There were 15 patients in each group. Visual analoque scala (VAS) was used in the study. The values were between 0 and 10. VAS values recorded before the treatments, at the last day of treatment and 1 month after the treatment. Occlussal splint applied during 3 weeks 12 h per day. Laser treatments were applied during 10 days one per day. As a result of this research a statistically significant healing was seen all treatment groups according to placebo group. There was no statistically significant healing in placebo group.
