Abstract (EN)
Nowadays, with the latest technological developments, the production, development and determination of the material properties of polymeric nanocomposites with nanoscale reinforcing particles have become an important field of study. In this study, polymer/TiO2 nanocomposites were prepared and characterized by melt mixing and grafting methods. Polymeric nanocomposites in melt mixing method were prepared by mixing PolyHydroxy propyl methacrylate and TiO2 at the ratios of 1,3, 5, 7 and 10 mass%. The grafting method was carried out in two steps. First, 3-(methacryloyloxy) propyl trimethoxysilane was grafted onto the surface of TiO2 nanoparticles. In the second step, the monomer was polymerized with the benzoyl peroxide initiator and over this material. The resulting compounds were characterized using 1H-NMR, 13C-NMR, FT-IR, GPC, Thermal Analysis, HRTEM and FESEM methods.
