Abstract (EN)

This study is consist of the hypothesis that specialities of Type A Behaviour Pattern as impulsiveness, hostility and anger, anger expression is a risk factor of coronary heart diseases. Besides the relationship between the socio-demographic factors and coronary heart diseases and specialities of Type A Behaviour Pattern is investigated: In this study an inquiry is made that consist socio-demographic factors with Rathus Assertiveness Schedule, Hostility Schedule and State-Trait Anger Expression Inventory. The sample group is based of 168 men and 80 women patient from the Faculty of Medicine of the Selçuk University and Konya State's Hospital. The control group is consist of 118 healty men and 80 healty women. It was made from October 1996 to December 1997. The analysis of data was made with One Way Anova, Post Hoc Student Newman Keults, t-test, Chi-sguare method and pearson correlation method. As a result of comparisons between patient and control group it is seen that the specialities of Type A Behavior Patterns is not a risk factor for coronary heart diseases.
