Abstract (EN)

In this study; It was studied on the synthesis of urea derivatives containing thiazole ring in their structure and potential for biological activity and determination of anticancer activities. In the first stage of the study; The synthesis of thiazole (5a-e) derivatives was accomplished by refluxing acetophenone derivatives (3a-e) in ethanol with I2 and thiourea. In the second stage of the study; Synthesis of the targeted new potential bioactive hybrid molecules (7-11a-j) was obtained from the reaction of the obtained thiazole (5a-e) derivatives and isocyanate derivatives (6a-j) in toluene under reflux conditions. The structures of the new hybrid molecules obtained were illuminated by spectroscopic methods such as NMR, FT-IR, LC / QTOF. Cell culture studies were performed with synthesized molecules against PC3 (prostate cancer), MCF7 (breast cancer) and HT29 (colon cancer) cell lines. According to the cell culture studies conducted, the molecules were found to be effective against the HT29 (colon cancer) cell line. In particular, 7d molecule was found to be active against HT29 (colon cancer) cell line.
