Abstract (EN)
Keywords: Thiazolo- thiazole, Schiff Base, Ferrocene-derived schiff base, Boronic acid-derived compounds, The dye sensitize of solar cell Light absorption optical spectroscopy, electronic behaviors and dye stuff properties of compounds carrying some functional groups including nitrogen, sulfur and boron elements were observed in this study. Synthesis and characterization of new types of dyestuffs including thiazolo- thiazole, ferrocene and boronic acid functional groups were performed. Chemical structures and spectroscopic properties of the dyes were analyzed by UV-visible region, FT-IR, 1H-NMR, 13C-NMR, MS and CV- cyclic voltammetry techniques. The UV- visible region absorption properties of the synthesized compounds were measured in the solid and solution phase. It was found that some ferrocene- containing schiff base compounds were added to the solution medium and the spectra changed when the acid was added for 7 hours. Thiazolo-thiazole derivative dyes were found to have more stable and distinct color characteristics. The application of some of the dyed dyes in dye sensitive solar cells has been studied. Ferrocene schiff bases containing carboxylic acid and sulfonic acid groups were found to exhibit very low yield in dye sensitive solar cell applications despite good adhesion to TiO2 surfaces. On the other hand, it was shown that the thiazolo- thiazole group and the conjugated copolymer dye containing triphenylamine exhibit a very good performance. Organic and inorganic compounds have applications in many different industrial areas. Such products are used as active ingredients in polymer additives, dyes and pigments, food additives, pharmaceutical active substances and dye sensitive solar cells.
