Abstract (EN)
In this study, drilling and blasting processes carried out in TKI-GLI open pit mines and theeffects of this processes on overburden costs were examined. In considered benches, three differentdrill-hole pattern were drilled for the blasting (spacing x burden=7x6, 7x5, 6x5). The study carried outfor a period of three month. In order to reveal the effect of drill-hole pattern on fragmentation, sizedistribution of muckpile for each drill pattern was determined. In addition, to each drill-hole pattern,overburden unit costs were calculated. Based on the results of this study, it was revealed that drill-holepattern have significant effect on overburden costsKeywords: Drill-Hole Pattern, Fragmentation, Overburden Cost.
