Specifically, researchers have attempted to determine those attitudes which are related to important organizational outcomes. The objective of this research is to define the extent to which employees of Toprak İlac AŞ, devote to the institution, their defined and undefined role behaviors and the relationship between them, and the effects of some socio-demographic characteristics on commitment to institution.Research was carried out with the employees of Toprak İlaç AŞ. In the research as well as an introductory information form to determine their socio-demographic characteristics, the following scales were also used; a scale consisted of statements related to defined and undefined role behaviors, developed by Smith et al in order to establish role behaviors; and a scale of commitment to institution consisted of 15 items developed by Porter et al to determine the extent of devotion to institution. It was observed that socio-demographic variables such as age, marital status and years of service did not affect mean scores of commitment to institution, whereas the duty in institution was effective only.Under the light of data obtained from research suggestions were made in regards to repeating this type of behavior measurements regularly and taking precautions directed toward increasing motivation.
