Abstract (EN)
In this study, different shadowing applications have been tried in Dahlia spp. The study was conducted in the experimental field belonging to the Agricultural Application and Research Directorate of Gaziosmanpaşa University/Tokat in 2017. Observations and measurements (yield, flower diameter, plant height, stem name, flower stem length, diameter, flower diameter, flower stem thickness, bud number, bud diameter, vase life) were carried out in order to determine the effects of on Dahlia spp. 's varieties which Le Castel, Seattle and Babylon Purple. The results were showed that shadowing applications (35% and 55%) had more positive effects on both efficiency and quality than the control. In terms of yield; Le Castel variety was detected in the first group according to the other varieties in 35% and 55% shadowing application. Babylon Purple with 35% shadowing application and Gloriosa 55% shadowing application have been successful application on flower stem length. Babylon Purple 35% shadowing application (249.05 mm) was the best result in flower diameter measurements (in the third measurement ). Babylon Purple gave the best result because directly affected the bud diameter. It has been determined that the number of buds and the number of hulls are the Le Castel variety. In plant height measurements; while Babylon Purple was important in the measurements, the Gloriosa variety came to the fore in 55% of the measurements. As a result of this study; the important difference between shading in flower diameter measurements is that 35% shadowing application is ideal for all varieties. Babylon Purple, Gloriosa is preferred over flower, Le Castel can be recommended in terms of yield in Tokat ecological conditional. The ability to use as outdoor ornamental plant varieties used, as well as Le Castel is recommended cultivars can be grown as cut flowers.
