Abstract (EN)
Nowadays, the absorption refrigerator is much important because inability of required energy and the damage to the ozone layer of fluid used in mechanics vapor iv compression refrigerator system. The refrigerator system becomes much important due to the rise of energy cost. Also, its waste heat helps to reduce the cost. In aborption cooling system, two fluid pairs are used which are absorbent and cooling fluid. LiBr is used as an absorbent and water is used as a cooling fluid. Absorption systems are friendly to environment, because natural fluid pairs as working fluid, which are not ozone depletion, are used in these systems. The objective of this research is the theoretical investigation of using Vapour Absorption Refrigeration System in the Bus Air Conditioning System, by utilising the waste heat in the exhaust gases of the main propulsion unit as the heat source. This method will be provided as an alternative to the conventional system that have an internal combustion engine driven Vapour Compression Refrigeration System. The results obtained were given into tables. Dimensioning of system components was obtained in the data as a result of thermodynamic calculations. Operation during the slow motor cycle condition, the performance of the system can be developed by more efficient design of the generator.
