The concept of gender equality in the evaluation of perception Ümraniye example

In this thesis, it is tried to investigate the confusion of concepts and the resulting social perception about the concept of gender in Turkey in the example of Istanbul Ümraniye. In Ümraniye district, the social perception situation was examined with the qualitative research method in the group of individuals The data obtained in the research were obtained by analyzing the notes taken during the interview with 40 women and 10 men, and then the voice recordings of the answers given to the open-ended questions. As a result of the research, it has been seen that there is a confusion of meaning between the concepts of gender and gender, and that this confusion causes social perception in terms of its effect on the orientation to the third gender.with a total of 50 people, 40 women and 10 men.
