Abstract (EN)
This study examined the moderating role of work-family conflict on the relationship between gender role attitudes and psychological climate. The questionnaire used for the study was applied to senior ground staff working in Istanbul at one of the leading Turkish airlines. The psychological climate scale developed by Brown and Leigh (1996), the work-family conflict scale developed by Netemeyer, Boles, and McMurrian (1996), and the gender role attitudes scale developed by Zeyneloğlu and Terzioğlu (2011) were used for the study. The survey consists of three parts in total. The first part discusses the theoretical basis of the study. This part includes the concepts of gender role attitudes, work-family conflict, and psychological climate, theoretical information on these concepts, and research on these concepts. The second part includes information about the purpose, scope, limitations, model, hypotheses, scales, and measurement methods of the study, and analysis. The last part of the study contains the analysis of the results obtained from the measurements. According to the results, no relationship was found between egalitarian gender role attitudes and psychological climate. However, it was found that work-family conflict has a partial moderator role in the relationship between traditional gender role attitudes, and psychological climate. Key Words: Gender role attitudes, work-family conflict, psychological climate
