The relationship of gender role stress and perceived social support and women's job satisfaction

The aim of this master thesis is to examine the effect of gender role stress and perceived social support on job satisfaction. The research was carried out with the contributions of 302 female participants, whose consent was obtained. Factors such as the age of the participants, the sector they work in, their income level, whether they have a regular job and whether they have children were also taken into consideration. In order to measure the variables mentioned in the study, the Informed Consent Form, Personal Information Form, Women's Gender Role Stress Scale, Multidimensional Scale of Perceived Social Support and Minnesota Satisfaction Questionnaire scales were applied to the participants. As a result of the research, when the relationship between gender role stress and job satisfaction was examined, no significant and strong relationship was found between these two cases. In addition, when the relationship between perceived social support and job satisfaction is examined, it has been revealed that there is a significant and positive relationship between these two phenomena. SPSS 27 was used for data analysis.
