Abstract (EN)
Today, most of people live in cities. City life has showed constant changes because of several factors in its historical process. Industry Revolution can be shown as a great factor on most people?s living in cities and final form of city life. Today?s city life has had its special form that involves tol iv in city. This city form changes new people to the needed life form tol ive in a city. That the people who live in a city and show appropriate behaviours to city life form is urbanization. Considering all people in a city, harmony to this city life form is considered as conscious of urbanization. This study is in the aim of explaining the role of becoming urbanized in the model of Afyonkarahisar in the process of social change. in the study firstly theorethical datas about social change and becoming urbanized are being given and the relation of becoming urbanized in the process of social, cultural and economic change is evaluated with the findings taken from the model of Afyonkarahisar.Key words: Urban, social change, being urbanized, urbanization.
