Abstract (EN)
The social movements literature is divided into two as the classical period and the period after 1960. When the literature is examined, it is seen that the theory of social movements is not a theory that has been examined yet. Because the transformation of societies creates differences in terms of organizational forms and types of social movements. While social movements can be formed with many arguments, the ones that emerged by being influenced by ideologies and especially ideologies based on great narratives constitute the most ardent masses in the history of social movements. In this context, ideological social movements were examined in our study. Two different classifications have been made on ideological social movements. These classifications are: rigid ideological movements and soft ideological movements. The differences between the two classes are put forward in the conclusion section with various criteria. Generally, rigid and soft ideological movements; It was concluded that they differ from each other in terms of various elements such as leader, method of action, public understanding, doctrine, reliance on a particular class and race, belief, members, hierarchy and the structure of the movement, the size of the movement, and participation in the movement.
