An appropriate view of national and international terrorial events of Turkish press for social progress trigger: Ankara-Paris and Brussels terrorism

Terrorism is one of the problems on the agenda that has a significant place in the world and in the world press. Terrorist events are not just agenda create, but they also guide and shape their societies. On the other hand, media is a tool used to guide society and determine what the community thinks. From this point of view, terrorism and the media are feeding each other. It is important to solve the main problem of trying to understand how the terror is determining the agenda of the media and how the media uses terror in the agenda. It is necessary to consider how the media determines the agenda within the framework of the agenda-setting theory. The agenda-setting theory is shortly based on the view that the media is making some subjects less visible while some subjects are in the upper echelon. The use of agenda-setting theory is the theory that can best explain the media terrorism relationship. It is thought that it can set the agenda in the terror like the media. As terrorism takes place in the media, terrorism fears occur in society. Society's fear of terror is triggered, and societies based on fear cultism emerge. In this study, the terrorist attacks that took place in Turkey and Europe have examined location in the Turkish press. . In the first part of the study, concepts of fear culture and social fear, which we claim to be formed by terrorist attacks and the media, are defined. Then, the concept and development of terror have been examined. In the third chapter, a conceptual framework has drawn on the agenda setting theory and the mediator's agenda-setting effect. The last chapter is devoted to examining the terrorist attacks in the capitals of the three countries. The attacks were included only in the Turkish press. The first and the inside pages of the newspapers investigated in the Turkish press were analyzed. In the fourth chapter, ankara, paris and brussels attacks were examined by quantitative and qualitative content analysis method. The findings of terrorist attacks in Cumhuriyet, Sözcü, Yeni Safak, Turkey, Hürriyet and Milliyet were analyzed. At the end of the study, it was seen that the Turkish press provided the same amount of foreign terrorist acts unless there was an increasing attack on the country. However, the content of the news has reached a more emotional attitude towards the domestic attack and a result that the attacks from abroad are more descriptive and sometimes critical.
