Abstract (EN)
The objective of this thesis to understand topology optimization methods and to perform topology optimization for automotive engine bracket which is used to assemble air conditioner compressor to engine. According to design rules all the engine component`s first natural frequency must be higher than engine working frequency to prevent resonance. As a general NVH (noise, vibration, harshness) target to ensure no resonances within the driving range.
