This study contains the design and manufacturing of a testing system which will enable to test the gear boxes used in soil tillage machinery. The heavy dynamic working conditions of gear boxes in the field can result total dissolution of bearings, body tear, gear cracks and oil seepage. The testing system will provide field conditions under exact stresses of gear box. By this the reaction of gears, the resistance of bearings, the problems on the body tear can be monitored and precauitons can be taken. Because of the heavy dynamic conditions of gear boxes used in Agricultural Machineries, the testing procedure of gear boxes becomes critical. Especially the quality of imported gear boxes and their long life usage makes the testing of domestic gear boxes highly important. The manufactured testing systems was used with one domestic and one imported gear box. The parameters were rotation-time, torque-time, pressure-time, heat-time, engine power-time, gear box output power-time and gear box efficiency-time. Results coming from the parameters had close correlation.
