Kinds of marriage based on custom and Berdel tradition

"In this study, ?Berdel marriage? (Twin marriage; bride exchange; one family gives its daughter to another family in order to take the bride from that family due to poverty) is studied at the framework of the implementation of customs and traditions which are the studies of Folklore discipline. The meaning and objective of this discipline, its content and principle study fields take place in the first chapter which the information about Folk Culture, Folk Literature and Folklore is given.In the second chapter, the subject of the study and method to be used in the study are described and the information about ?berdel marriage? is provided. In the third chapter, 'social structure', family, kinship and marriage types are discussed. In the content of the fourth chapter, data about 'regional report on blood marriage' is available. In the fifth chapter which examples about Berdel marriage are given, the determinations are made by establishing the relationship between reason and result. `Customs?, blood feud? and `berdel? are studied in the sixth chapter.As traditional structure, custom rules and berdel, which we study their economic and social aspects, are indicated that they are the scientific problem, it is concluded that its solution is the implementation of data which will be obtained by the folklorists and sociologists upon the studies.Keywords: Folklore, Folk culture, Folk literature, Family, Kinship, Marriage, Berdel Social structure, Custom, Traditional structure, Economics, Social science, Sociology
