In this study, using literature knowledge and raw data taken from a geotechnical site investigation report of new coast fill area for Akyazı Culture and Sport Complex Project at Akyazı/Trabzon, which is named as investigation site, liquefaction potential of soils assessed with various seismic parameter and methods. For this purpose, using basic engineering properties of soils, it is firstly illuminated that whether the investigation area? soils are liquefable or not. Later on, using SPT data and various seismic parameters peculiar to investigation site, liquefaction potential of the soils determined by various procedures under the described potential seismicity of the zone of Akyazı town and Trabzon city. A brand new computer program written for all liquefaction potential analysis and gained results presented both in tables and in graphs. At the end of the evaluation of soil classification, it is defined as investigation area' soil class Poorly Graded Sand- Silty Sand (SP-SM) according to unified soil classification system (USCS) in general, which is also prone to liquefaction. By the means of particle size, shape and gradation characteristics evaluation, it is determined where the liquefable soils located at the investigation site. With calculation, it is monitoring the increment of earthquake magnitude and peak ground acceleration versus liquefaction potential changing. At the investigation site, liquefaction potential of soils has not been observed in a moment magnitude 5 and 6 generating peak ground acceleration of 0,1 g. In a moment magnitude 5 and 6 generating peak ground acceleration of 0,2 g, liquefaction potential has been widely observed in the soils media. In a moment magnitude 5 and 6 generating peak ground acceleration of 0,3 g, liquefaction potential has been observed almost all of the soils investigated.
