Abstract (EN)
Job satisfaction is a fact which comes true when the features of the job are compatible with the demands of employees and which makes the employees content with their jobs. The aims of the organization attain importance on condition that job satisfaction is provided. Therefore, a lot of research to determine the level of the satisfaction of the employee regarding both organization and employees themselves has been conducted in our country and in the world.Yet, with regard to working types and employee profiles, on account of uncertainties about seasonal works and workers, as in the tea enterprises, sufficient research has not been conducted to determine the job satisfaction levels of employees of seasonalworkforce in our country.The purpose of this research is to shed light on both determining the satisfaction levels of seasonal workers in tea enterprises and founding basis for further studies. As a research field tea, enterprises in Trabzon have been selected.This study aims to fix the profiles and demographic features of the seasonal workers before all else. Afterwards, by comparing Çaykur ( State-Owned Institution) and private enterprises, the factors influencing job satisfaction and job satisfaction levels have been analyzed. Moreover, some evaluations on the organizational and individual results of the job satisfaction levels of the seasonal workers with their prior expectations about their jobs have been made.In this study the following important results can be recapitulated:Notwithstanding their prevailing dissatisfaction, general job satisfaction level of private sector seasonal workers is lower than the ones working in Çaykur.While the most important factor affecting negatively the job satisfaction of the employees of Çaykur is low income, it is low income and job guarantee in private sector workers.KEY WORDS: Job satisfaction, dissatisfaction, seasonal job, seasonal employee (worker), tea enterprises.
