Abstract (EN)
It is seen that a word has different meanings as well as having multiple meanings in Classical Turkish Literature over years. Some words in the couplet are used as image and we analyse them in the thesis. When the couplets in Classical Turkish Literature are analysed, most of the words we come accross have different meanings and indeed, they take the reader from the worldly feelings to an eternal world. The words 'meyhâne' and 'sâkî' used in the couplet might be thought in the framework of liquor but if the content is considered, it is understood that 'meyhâne' means dergâh (islamic monastery) and 'sâkî' means derviş (the member of an islamic monastery). Thus, we endeavor to uncover the deep meanings in the couplets by the project TEBDİZ. The master Emin Hilmî from Trabzon is a poet who appeared in the last period of Classical Turkish Literature. The poet who had been in many places throughout the civil servant and mentioned these places in his work also contributed to history. This study aims to expound the couplets in the Divan and to decode implied meanings of the used words in the work. Key Words: Trabzonî Emin Hilmî Efendi, Context, Concordance, Functional Glossary
