The life of Emin Hilmi literary personality and text of his Divan

İn this work, the trancription and analysis of Hilmi?s Divan were introduced. Hilmi was a repsesentative of the Classical Otoman Poetry in 19th century.This thesis had three parts. İn the fisrt part, it was mentioned about Hilmi?s life and his literary personality thanks to the sources and his own poems.İn the second part, the poems in divan were examined according to their verse forms. İn this part, his using of meter and rhyme were introduced with examples. The proverbs and idioms in his poems were explained.İn the third part, the text of Hilmi?s divan was introduced.İn the cocluding part, the elements in Hilmi?s divan were explained in general terms and the work was accomplished.Key Words1.
