Abstract (EN)

In this study, it was investigated whether or not vehicles in traffic have the necessary technical conditions. Written regulations related to the vehicle examinations, including what the technical conditions are, are explained in the second chapter.Technical conditions of vehicles and the effects on a vehicle are clarified in the third chapter. As well, effects of faults of vehicle parts and rigging on the economy, traffic accident, environment, and air pollution are elucidated in this chapter.Motorized vehicles should have the necessary technical sufficiency identified through international rules. Besides this technical capacity and production of the vehicles in that quality, having these properties during the use of vehicles is very important. Hence, there is a need people who have vehicles should completely repair and maintenance of their autos in order to improve traffic safety. Private inspection stations are assigned by the Ministry of Transportation to examine whether or not vehicles in traffic have the necessary technical conditions in Turkey, and inspection stations of General Directorate of Highways are authorized until the private stations are opened. Technical conditions of vehicles as a result of the data obtained from private inspection stations and authorized vehicle services are investigated and the case of vehicles are reported in the forth chapter of this study.Analyses of the measurement results and evaluation of the study are presented in the fifth chapter.
