Abstract (EN)
In this study, we try to understand the male identity today and values determine. We made an effort to put ahead that masculinity is not an innate identity as femininity, but an identity to obtain and cost. First formed our sex is socially characterized by our pink / blue clothes, then we are given dolls and toy car.Men are trained as defined in the brave soldiers outside the house and women as well as girls should cook at home. But particularly in the region where we live being a man means the effort to cross some steps, and the exams of these steps. The first of these steps is circumcision. We impose the boy circumcised that he "has taken the first step toward manhood" this physical impact is heightened in the public domain with the ceremonies. This process is followed by military service. The man who has already completed military service is considered ready to start a family because he lived the difficulties that allow it to handle any power. After his military service, that man finds a job becomes the greatest expectations of his parents. The male prototype formed by society must marry after finding a job and start earning money to support his family. But marriage is almost useless without father. If the process to have children is delayed a little, this man is not considered a complete man. The problem that we have addressed in our study was 'if the values component masculinities differ today of securities in the patriarchal male identity'. Do the steps we have mentioned above are different today? What do contemporary men who are able to establish dominance over these processes? We interviewed the components that form the steps revealing all this male domination. Following our research, we noticed that there are differences and ruptures of the patriarchal mentality in some areas where male values today are formed. Circumcision and military service are such fictional spaces of masculinity where the break is observed in the most obvious way. Men now accept as men who were not circumcised and who have not done military service in the masculine world, and they even carry a burden of being forced to do against their will.On the other hand, in the chapter where we analyzed the family relationships, parental relationships have emerged as the relational network where masculinities and mentality of contemporary men visibly aspects related to patriarchy, transmissions continue in much the same, that is to say where the patriarchal mentality recurs again and again. We met the indestructible authority of the father, conflicting processes and then transmitting the same process by these men. We are faced with a masculine identity wavers between those who are experienced and who are learned. Premarital sex was the right of men, but not the right of their sisters. For men today, love is too mystical marriage is a form of contract to a more stable life.Nevertheless it must be said that today these men described the identity of Man Turkish delaquelle they keep their distance as hypocritical. According to them, there is an obvious identity called the Turkish man and that man sees himself as an authority who looks to women wearing miniskirts while he does not respect the right to wear mini-skirts of his wife.In Turkey, men can have several different characteristics, types, but those we have sought Treaty substantially between the hammer and the anvil.
