Evaluation of the effectiveness of provided transcranial magneti̇k stimulation (TMS) and nursi̇ng care education

This study was conducted in order to evaluate the effectiveness of Education level on the Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) and Nursing Care given to undergraduate nursing 4th grade students on the semi-experimental basis. The population of the research was the 4th grade students of the Universities affiliated to the Western Black Sea Universities Association. In addition, all students who had completed the questionnaires but not included into the sample count were also included into the population of the research. Research data were collected by administrating; Descriptive Characteristics Surveys identifying the characteristics of the students, TMS and the Nursing Care Information Forms, Pre-training Knowledge Test, Final Test, Postthree weeks Re-Tests and Education Evaluation Forms. Percentage, median, min-max, Friedman's two-way ANOVA statistical analysis were used forData evaluation. As a result of the research; There were statistically significant differences between the timings of the students' knowledge test scores (p <0.05). Also there were statistically significant differences between the median of students' Pre-training Knowledge Test, Final Test, Post three weeks Re-Tests scores (x2=197.695, Sd=2, p=0.001). Approximately half of the students (45%) rated Education as "good" and scored X̅=3.1 ± 0.94 points. As a result, TMS and Nursing Care Education given to nursing students were found to differ between the knowledge levels of the students'Pre-training Knowledge level, Final level and Post three weeks level. Since the study was a semi-experimental study with a limited population, to conduct a study with students and especially nurses with a larger population at national level and measuring the effectiveness of TMS and Nursing care education was suggested.
