Classification of tranparent wall systems and alanysis of their construciton and usage performances

The scope of this research was to search historical development of the transparent curtain walls, detailed glass types which are produced for transparent facades, classification of the transparent curtain walls and to obtain detailed schedule and diagram showing comparison of the execution works and usage values of the transparent curtain walls accordingly that research.The aim, scope and methodology have been mentioned in the first chapter. The concept of the curtain walls, historical development and concept of the transparent curtain walls have been explained including classification of the transparent curtain walls in the second chapter.The system and point details of the transparent curtain walls, types of glasses, which are produced for transparent curtain walls, with specifications, types of execution works and usage values have been crosschecked.The comparison of the execution works of transparent curtain walls and usage values have been issued with a schedule and detailed diagram to be able to direct the designers in order to select the optimum solutions and alternatives of the transparent curtain walls accordingly their architectural, electrical and mechanical requirements.Intelligibility of the research has been simplified with the help of the diagrams; graphics and photos, in all chapters.
