Özet (EN)
The wet ability of solid surfaces is an important role in material science and fundamental research. Because of having their numerous potential applications, intensive researches have been done in recent years. Wetting of solid surfaces is characterized by the contact angle .If the value of the water contact angle is smaller than 90°, the surface is hydrophilic. Surfaces with the water contact angle close to 0° the surface is called superhydrophilic. In this study, Using a sol?gel/dip-coating method with organic template, the transparent mesoporous silica thin films containing chromium oxide and titanium be prepared on quartz plate by surface modification was to make superhydrophilic and transparent features. CeO2 in order to enable a comparison of the thin films were prepared. Nanoparticle contact angle measurements were performed according to the concentration and size. Surface characterization studies were performed by using UV-Vis spectrometry, the contact angle was measured with DSA100 contact angle meter, Scanning electron microscope (SEM) was used for surface morphology, and chemical composition of surface was investigated using X-ray diffraction spectroscopy (XRD) and energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDS). According to result analysis; compared with the mesoporous silica thin films, these CrMS thin films have demonstrated a strong superhydrophilic surface property. It is found that appropriate amount of CeO2/TEOS Cr(NO3)6/TEOS or/and TEOT/TEOS is effective on the super-hydrophilic property ; it was observed that the more hydrophilic structure occurred as a result of calcination. The increase in the surface porous structure and more than other surfaces of silica surface hydroxy (-OH) also contain a hydrophilic structure has been effective in the formation of the active groups. And all of thin films are showed close to transparents features like glass film.
