Abstract (EN)

Habitat Typological Of The Troad Region In The Early Bronze Age Assessment Of The Archaeological And Ethnoarchaelogical Perspective , the variations of the houses in the region are scrutinized Troas Region, which is on the West Anatolia is a region currently known as Biga Peninsula. The region, because of its fertile soil and advantageous geopolitic locatin, has been a scene of settlements throughout the history.The settlements are, Troia is the first, Beşik-Yassıtepe, Kumtepe and neighbouring regions Yenibademli Höyük in Gökçeada, Tenedos in Bozcaada and they are all the subject of our study. The focus of our study is to explain the architectural texture of these settlements in the Early Bronze Age.In the context of the study the excavation history of these settlements are dealt, besides the geographical conditions and general aspects of them, the cultural life of the inhabitants are touched upon. The architectural traditions, the materials used in the building and the construction techniques are mentioned, besides some literatures, the results of excavation and surface researches are utelized. In order to decide whether the building types in the Bronze Age in Troas Region are transfered to modern age, some types of residences in the villages near the settlements are examined.One of the most important aim of our study is to determine the architectural tradition of the settlements in the region, and to determine similar and different aspects and to examine now much of this tradition is reflected in the current buildings in the region. I hope with this study I?ve reached my aim.
