A basic approach to trombon learning, playing technique and common technical deficiencies and solution proposals

In instrument education, it is very important to develop basic studies and technical skills in order to be able to master the instrument and achieve success. In addition, the development process of new beginners should be followed carefully by a good teachers. Each instrument education and performance has its own challenges. The trombone is initially considered one of the most difficult instruments among brass instruments because of its size, slide and technical characteristics. Initial education is considered to be a challenging process, and in this process, it is very important for educators to be able to see mistakes and to convey the necessary warnings and instructions to their students in correcting these mistakes. In this thesis research, in addition to the basic skills and technical studies used in trombone education, the difficulties and problems frequently encountered by students and educators will be evaluated, and methods and solutions that can be applied to these problems will be presented. The information, method and solution suggestions given in the research are aimed to benefit students, educators and performers.
