Abstract (EN)

This study is purposed to determine the effect of income level on out of home food and beverage consumption. Literature has been done. The scope of the study consists of the participants living in İzmir. Since it is difficult to reach the entire population, sampling has been taken and method of random sampling has been used. In this study, data is collected using questionnaire technique from quantitative research methods and 791 people have participated in the study. Data collection has been done online via Google forms. According to the research findings, there is relationship between the marital. Status and the frequency of eating outside. Another finding in the study is that gender is distinctive for the lower dimensions of eating habits. While men eat outside for more sociological purposes, psychological, imperative and economic reasons are the forefront of women. This shows that men and women are driven by different incentives for out of home food and beverage consumption.
