Abstract (EN)

Aim: Liquefied petroleum gas is quite wide in terms of usage areas. LPG which is colorless and odorless under normal circumstances has flammable and explosive quality. While the production, filling, and transportation of pressurised gas cylinders pose a great risk physically and chemically, ıt is situated in a very dangerous group in the danger classes. In this study, the physical and chemical risks that employees may encounter in the working environment of a tube filling center operating in Elazig were investigated and solutions were offered to the detected problems. Material and Method: In this study, the possible risks that employees may be come up in tube filling centers tried to identify by Fine-Kinney and What if methods. At the same time, quantitative research techniques were preferred as the data collection technique in this study, and the survey method was used as a tool for collecting these data. The questionnaire used in the study consists of 24 questions and the obtained data were analyzed with the SPSS 22.0 program. The employees at the facility answered the questions in the questionnaire either "agree" or "completely agree" Conclusion: According to the risk analysis made as a result of the field studies, there were problems regarding the use of personal protective equipment, the transportation of the tubes, the thresholds, and the section where tube gas leakage controls were carried out. The measures are specified to eliminate these negativities. According to the questionnaire data, the awareness of the employees against physical and chemical risk factors was high.
