Özet (EN)
One of the biggest expenses of the institutions, organizations and companies in the aviation sector today is fuel expenses. In this study, the fuel consumption in the descent phase of the flight was modeled. Two different methodologies were used during the modeling. The real fuel flow data of 5 flights were used in the studies. It was obtained by means of Flight Data Recorder. During the modeling process, the Microsoft Excel Solver program was used. General Reduced Gradient Method was used for this modeling. In this study, the average absolute percent error (MAPE) values for 5 flights in the first methodology were 1.306, 1.856, 2.981, 2.657, 1.291 and linear correlation coefficient values were obtained as 0.995, 0.996, 0.987, 0.979, 0.996, respectively. In the second methodology, the mean absolute percentage error (MAPE) values were 1.261, 2.202, 3.137, 2.539, 1.797 and linear correlation coefficient values were 0.995, 0.995, 0.984, 0.980, 0.993, respectively. In the results obtained, the data that are close to the real data and the error rates are at acceptable levels have emerged.
