Abstract (EN)

Aim:Thisstudywascarriedouttoexaminetheeffect of stresslevels of nursesworking in Turgut Özal Medical Center on professionalburnout. MaterialandMethod: Theresearchwasconductedcross-sectionallywith 242 nursesworking at İnönü University Turgut Özal Medical Center betweenMarch 2020 andAugust 2020. "Nurse Presentation Form", "NurseStressDiagnosis Form" and "MaslachBurnoutScale" wereused in thecollection of researchdata. Percentage, correlation, MannyWhitney test, andKruskall Wallis test wereusedtoevaluatethedata. Results: Itwasdeterminedthat72.3% of theparticipantswerefemale, 27.7% weremale, 61.2% weremarriedand 38.8% weresingle. It has beendeterminedthatthestresslevels of theparticipants in thestudyarehighandtheaveragenursestressscore is 107.40 ± 30.45. TheMaslachBurnoutpointaverage of thenurseswasfoundto be 55.48 ± 11.89. Itwasfoundthatthere is a statisticallysignificantrelationshipbetweenthestresslevels of nursesandprofessionalburnout (p = 0.000). Conclusion: Intheresearch, it wasdeterminedthatthestressandburnoutlevels of thenursesworking in Turgut Özal Medical Center arehigh. It has beenfoundthatprofessionalburnoutincreases as stresslevelsincrease. KeyWords: Nurse, Stress, Occupational Burnou
