Abstract (EN)

Fierce competition in tourist regions forces companies to implement different marketing strategies and utilize the region?s resources in a productive manner. Creating a proper image in line with the region?s characteristics affects tourists? destination choices and is seen as an important factor for marketing strategies. Tourism destination image directly influences individiuals? travel behaviours which is made up of a mixture of multiple factors. This study examined the importance of image in tourism destination marketing as well as the impacts of image and tourism destination image on supply.The study is composed of three parts; the first part consists of tourism destination marketing, supply and demand. In the second part image in tourist destinations and impact of image are examined. The final part is constructed upon a field study which examined Çeşme?s image.This research determined to work, effects of tourism image and tourist perceptions factors. This research deduced that tourism destination image effected by price, safety, service quality and environmental factors.Key words: 1) Tourism Destination Image 2)Tourism Destination Marketing3) Tourism Image
