Abstract (EN)
Nationalism is never non-deploying at any time and it is always an expanding, changeable and adaptable concept. Fort this reason, it has been able to show its existence in any era and due to the same reason, it has managed to hold its own existence in the Turkish constitutions even though its name was changed more than once. In this case, first of all the theories of basic nationalism were analyzed, and then the reason and results of conceptual differences born in the sense of nationalism in the constitutional process were investigated together with the historical process. In the end, the case law of the Constitutional Court and the practical application of nationalism with concrete and some suggestions were presented. As a result of the study, it has been observed that although the concept of nationalism has periodic differences as emphasized in the study, these differences mainly stem from common goals. These main objectives can be summarized as follows: To protect the unitary state structure and the republic against the ideologies seen as different and separatists and to use the nationalism as a corporate tool in the process of community building by guaranteeing the constitution.
