Abstract (EN)

Turkish baklava is an important dessert of Turkish cuisine and has a certain economic importance. In recent years, the increase and ease of travel opportunities and the widespread use of social media have increased the recognition and demand of Turkish baklava in our country and in the world. Turkish baklava is a dessert of economic importance both in the domestic market and internationally. Turkish baklava contributes positively to both the local economy and the Turkish economy through factors such as production, employment, export potential and tourism contribution. Among Turkish baklava, genuine Antep baklava, which is produced with traditional production methods and the quality of the materials used with handcraftsmanship, should be evaluated in a separate category in terms of both art and craft. Fresh products such as baklava need to be delivered to customers on time and safely. It is therefore important to optimize the distribution network and delivery times. For this purpose, local distribution centers can be established to guarantee fast delivery and fresh products. In addition, baklava types and flavors can be customized according to local markets, both for domestic regional demand and for exports abroad. In baklava logistics, travel times are controlled to ensure minimum freshness of products. In the baklava supply chain, a balance needs to be struck between freshness and transportation cost. Turkish baklava, which is registered with the EU and has a geographical indication, can be promoted at festivals organized in touristic places every year. These promotional activities will be effective in increasing baklava exports. will be filled later
