Criminal execution regime specific to children in Turkish criminal execution law

Punishment, a mandatory consequence of state sovereignty, is a state sanction. This sanction is fulfilled by the execution of penalties. According to the juvenile criminal justice system, the purpose of the sanction to be applied is to prevent child from treating the crime, protect the rights of the victim, to ensure social securiyt and peace, and to protect the child, to prevent the repetition of crime and to prevent the child from becoming a profession in crime. The study consist of three parts. The first part deals with the relationship of the execution regime with human rights and children's rights, the second part ist he subject of the trial and execution of children, and the third part is the execution regime and control mechanisms in our legal system. The this study, the emergence of children's right and status of children in criminal execution law were introduced. As a result of the reforms in juvenile justice system, the place of juvenile who are driven to crime has been specified. Disciplinary institutions specific to children were introduced and education, working, relationship with the world outside, correction and reward mechanisms in these institutions were explained. The institutions that are active in the control of execution were examined. Problems in the protection mechanisms in our legal system have been revealed and solutions have been presented.
