The crime of child sexual abuse in Turkish Penal Code

Children constitute the future of the society, so to grow as a properly person should protected against all kinds of abuse and violence. In particular, sexual investment which effect deeply the child physically and spiritually being and which faced by hatred in the community, İt is a kind of abuse that requires effective intervention. As a part of this intervention, child sexual immunity must be included in the scope of the legal protection in the Criminal Law. To protect the sexual immunity of children especially in order to enable children to show a healthy sexual development, actions of sexual investing targeted to children listed under No. 5237 Turkish Criminal Law and sanctions listed under No.103. In recent years, the crime of sexual abuse of children shows substantial increases. To stop of this increase and allow children to complete their physical and mental development in a healthy way; a hard work started in all sectors. The child is the most lovable presence of the human kind, in order to contribute to the studies of the protection of the child against sexual abuse, the crime of sexual abuse of children chose as the thesis topic. Related to the crime this study including Basic concepts, historical development of the crime, and the type of the appearance in the comparative law and try to analysis type of the regulation in terms of technical law under the changes and updates on No.6545 of the law.
