Abstract (EN)
The alteration of the Tile which has indicated itself as pattern and style throughtout the centuries also showed itself in raw material, supplies and technique. When the paste and glaze, which form the two main parts of the tile, are chroconacally analysed, we aware of the variation of the raw materials. The glaze which provides durability of the works of Tile against external factors is important in the same time in terms of its application and the colours. Another factor in applying the glaze in its contribution to the Tile in terms of art and aesthetics.It is so importanat to document the glaze?s historical evolution, the way it is applied and its effect on the present time.The historical evolution of the art of Tile is provided from the limited resources of the technologic information and there have been many experimental studies on applying these recepies; the technigues, the paste, the glaze, the coloration of the glaze and the formation of the recepies.Bu testing and analysing the studies that have been done on the art and technique of the Tile from the 12th century to the present time Anatolia, the result that have been reached take part in this study and are explained in the evaluation part.
