Abstract (EN)

In this study named "Morphological Place Borrowings in the Turkish Language", the place and importance of morphological place borrowing in the syntax/word order/adjective sequence of the Turkish language, the usage areas of morphological place borrowing in historical and contemporary dialects and Turkish dialects the frequency of use and the reasons are discussed in detail. Since the terms place borrowing and morphological place borrowing have not yet gained a full prevalence, many studies have not been done about them. However, we can say that the issues that place borrowing touches on have been extensively covered. Syntax, sentence studies and, accordingly, inverted sentences, flexible syntax, basic element order, etc. In studies with nouns, similar issues were handled with morphological place borrowing. However, in the studies carried out under these names, the syntax/affixation law of the Turkish language has been ignored. We will have the opportunity to see in detail the place, usage areas, frequency, and reasons for this law in the structure of the Turkish language, which has been left incomplete or misinterpreted by the term morphological place borrowing. To understand the origin and nature of the concept that is the subject of the study, the above-mentioned concepts are discussed in detail in the first and second sections, centered on morphological borrowing. In the third chapter, named Morphological Place Borrowings in the Turkish Language, the existence of morphological place borrowing in all phases of the Turkish language has been proven by giving examples from the scanned works. In the conclusion part, the place of morphological place borrowing in the syntax of the Turkish language, its frequency of use, and its reasons are emphasized.
