Abstract (EN)

Soft power can be defined in the briefest form as the infusing efforts of the governments about their convictions on a subject by using their sanction powers hold without entering a conflict environment. Soft power is a method that have been used since the ancient times of history of humanity. However it is seen that it have been used more intensively in this process which had spawned with the start of the Cold War and still ongoing. Soft power have been implemented by using sometimes non-governmental organizations and sometimes moral elements such as religious factors etc. In this study it was emphasized on Turkish foreign politics in general terms, Turkish foreign politics and the use of soft power before AKP period and in AKP period have been compared and the recently applied soft power policies of Turkey have been examined.
