Examining of the examples of divan poems which takes in Turkish literature classbooks for class-9th and class-10th on account of mi theory

This study examines the Turkish Literature classbooks of class 9th and class 10th which were approved by Ministry of National Education in 2005 and classbooks that were prepared and confirmed according to Turk Literature programme by publications are Simsek, Serhat and Inkilap under the Theory of Multiple Intellegence (MI Theory).The Divan poems in the books were mentioned above are investigated under the all types of intelligence profile in MI theory with the aim of determining of differencies and weaknesses (inadequate sides) of those books.In order to investigate the appropriateness of Divan poems in terms of providing improvement at 8 intelligence profile in Turk Literature classbooks of class 9th and class 10th, an MI questionnaire is given to the theachers of Turkish Language and Literature at secondary schools under the Ministry of National Education .As a result of this examine ;1. The linguistic intelligence are over-supported not purposely in the Turk Literature classbooks of class 9th and class 10th which were prepared according to the Constructive Approach.2. Altough some inadequate sides of Literature class books which were prepared acording to the Constructive Approach, they are reasonably appropriate for MI Theory.3. According to the teachers who attended the MI questionnaire study there isn?t correlation between MI theory and classbooks in terms of applicability of MI theory on Turk Literature classbooks that are prepared according to the Literature programme of the year of 2005.At the end of this study there are some advices given by the examiner according to the evidiences in Literature clasbooks.
