The history of the Turkish Educational Association

As a result of national education policy, historical process of The Turkish Education Association, having been founded in the first years of Republic, was evaluated both structurally and functionally in the research.Taking into consideration the country's economical, social, political and cultural conditions, the research includes that in which conditions and for which purpose the Turkish Educational Foundation was founded, what operations it performed in the first years of foundation and to date how it has progressed. It also includes information about the Boards of Directors and chairmans of the The Turkish Education Association.In the analysed process, evaluation was done by taking into consideration the applied national education policies and activities of school of minorities and foreign schools which have wanted to have voice in education. In this evaluation published laws, parliamentary speeches, school yearbooks, resolutions of the Board of Directors, annual reports and resolutions of General Assembly related to the subject in that period were served as a basis. Analysis of data was done proper to the historical analysis model.
