One of the important problems affecting the professions of seafarer is occupational mobbing. The mobbings that are applied to the crew in the ships results with job dissatisfaction. Seafarers who are exposed to mobbing drops effectivity. The result of mobbing is reduced communication and cooperation on board. One of the main objectives of the international maritime organization (IMO) is to make the maritime profession attractive to newly arrived seafarers. Therefore, it is necessary to identify the problems that these seafarers are exposed to. For this purpose, level of mobbing perception of seafarers was studied in the study. A questionnaire based on the Leymann psychological terror scale (LIPT) was used for the analysis of mobbing practices. The study was applied to 221 persons who have a Turkish seafarer's license. SPSS 23 program was used to evaluate the questionnaires. In addition, in this survey, mobbing practices that seafarers are exposed to on ships have been put forward and recommendations have been made.
