Abstract (EN)

In present study the objective is to explain Turkish Constitutional Jurisdiction and its reconstructing. Additionally analysis of the views and suggestions regarding the need to reconstruct courts in certain forms constitutes another purpose of this study.Under the title Jurisdiction in 1982 Constitution and parallel to the view of reconstructing Constitutional Jurisdiction that has been set up in high courts section between articles 146 to 153, present study is composed of two parts. First of all, the function of Constitutional Jurisdiction, historical development of Turkish Constitutional Court, its status and features, the quests and objectives to reconstruct the court are attempted to list in the first part.In the second part of current study, the subjects that are put on the agenda within the scope of reconstructing suggestions or in other words after making a detection on the topic headlines of reform quests; the establishment of court, status of members, organizational structure, power and duties, auditing methods, suggestions about the performance and proceeding style which were discussed for quite a long time but has recently been stated in a more comprehensive and tangible way shall be attempted to reveal under the light of current regulations and data of comparative law.In this sense, it can be concluded that some concrete suggestions have been put forward in doctrine and in the researches conducted by either the institutions themselves or specialists hired by these institutions.Key Words: Constitutional Jurisdiction, Reconstruction Suggestions, Constitutional Complaint, Legitimacy, Supreme Court.SAÜ, Institute of Social Sciences Post Graduate Thesis Abstract
