Strategic planning in SME's of turkish construction industry

The present study investigated to what extent strategic planning is applied in small and medium sized enterprises (SME) of Turkish construction industry. The study aimed to explore the inadequacies in the applications of strategic planning.In the content of this thesis, literature review on strategic planning is presented in the first chapter. In the second chapter, small and medium size companies in the Turkish construction industry are presented and the possible applications of strategic planning approaches are discussed. A questionnaire is developed in order to investigate the application of strategic planning to SME?s in the construction industry. General discussion is made in the conclusion chapter.
